The below handmade quilt was made with  people based in Aotearoa New Zealand who might be feeling anxious or lonely. The Grá–Aroha–Love Quilt was inspired by a chat over a cupán tae between Ambassador Ryan and Jane Quinn, who donated and designed the quilt and led its creation in the spirit of Meitheal (“Coming together”) during 2020 by Friends of Ireland across Aotearoa New Zealand.

It symbolises the deep, enduring & flourishing friendship between our peoples.
